Fen Vet came to us with a problem – the founder, Dr. Cody Creelman, wanted to engage people with his new practice, Fen Vet, but he wasn’t sure how he could do it with the pressures of starting a new small business.

When opening in Airdrie, Alberta in April 2021, the well-known former cow vet had visions of changing the culture of veterinary medicine to do what’s right for the staff, patients and clients. His goal has been to create a healthier “fen”, or environment for all those involved in veterinary medicine.

He was unsure of how it would be received, and if he could afford what he wanted, which was weekly videos to engage with his audience of pet owners and vet students and staff. So we jumped in and went month-to-month for payments instead of creating a weighty contract.

The roughly almost 50 videos we created in the first year, along with many photos and micro-moments have been a part of Fen Vets success story, as they’ve grown from a staff of five (two vets, two techs, and a client care coordinator) to over 20 in just over a year. They’ve opened a new small animal practice in Calgary and an equine clinic near Cartstairs.

The content we’ve created has helped pet owners feel they can trust their pets in this new, spa-like, transparent vet experience. Check out their Google reviews and videos on YouTube.

It’s also helped attract and retain staff who share the vision of changing vet med to be a healthier, happier career. While other clinics struggle to find new hires, Fen Vet has a steady stream of applicants to support their growth. Veterinary professionals want to be a part of the culture they’ve seen in social media videos by Fen Vet.
